Strathcona is a very, very small team. We are committed to creating beautiful and well made objects and clothes. We are not fast fashion. We are very thoroughly slow fashion. If you are in a rush, we will absolutely try to accommodate you, but keep in mind that our strength is creativity and quality not pace. We'll always do our best to get you your parcels on time — but the holidays are bonkers. Order as early as possible to ensure delivery in time! All of these are approximate and suggested by Canada Post. They should leave you with ample time for delivery, but also, you can always gamble and order later if you want to test the speed of Canada Post or DHL — they are usually pretty fast, but it's the holidays ;)

Where do you ship from?
Mostly Roberts Creek, Canada. That said, we don’t sew the active wear and swimsuits ourselves so those items will be coming to you from other places — mostly the US or Mexico! But feel free to get in touch and ask for details!
How long will shipping take?
Shipping times vary depending where you order from, but below is a rough guide to transit times, that is how long it will take once the order has shipped.***
(Please note these times are guidelines and are not applicable in December or made to order items! Made to order stuff takes longer).
4-7 business days within Canada.
6-10 business days in the USA.
8-16 business days internationally
***When will my order ship?
We ship online orders from our studio about once a week — sometimes more and sometimes less. Please keep this in mind when calculating how long it will take to get your order. If we’ve just shipped, your order will not ship until the following shipping date.
Also note that our clothing is made to order, this will add time to the order delivery time!
I want them ASAP! Can you ship them faster?
Yes we can. But it is much more expensive than the nominal amount we charge for shipping on normal orders. Express shipping generally adds $30 or more. Yikes.
What's my tracking number?
We don't offer tracking on normal orders because it would add a lot of cost to the shipping. But if you want a tracking number, make sure you choose express shipping or tracked packet.
Will I pay duties?
It depends on where you are and what you’re getting. When we ship socks in Canada no. And the USA generally not. But internationally it's possible that you’ll incur some duties. That being said, it's not consistent, and they tend to be pretty nominal. Some of our new athletic wear and swimsuits are made in Mexico and we notice that sometimes we’ll get charged import tax. But it’s sort of luck of the draw. If you are concerned about it and want to chat hit us up.
RETURNS
Do you accept returns for socks?
Yes, we want you to be totally satisfied with your order! If you are unhappy you can return your unused goods within 30 days receiving your order. The goods must be new and unused with their packaging intact.
Do you accept returns for clothing?
If there is something wrong with your item, yes. But if you’ve just changed your mind — it’s a harder call… this is a very small project and and every item is made to order. So once we’ve made it for you — it’s made — for you! Generally we don’t accept returns. That said, we want you to be happy! And we are reasonable people and we can find a way to sort things out. Please feel free to get in touch with us before hand to discuss your order or concerns.
Do you accept returns for things bought on sale?
Items bought with discounts or on-sale are final sales.
What if something is wrong with my order?
We do our best to ensure that our product is of the highest quality. That said, occasionally we miss things during quality control. If there is a manufacturer's flaw, please let us know what it is via email with a photo and we will absolutely figure something out. See below for how to return your item.
How do I return something?
